DeckStorm

Built for the kiff.

DeckStorm comes from the other side of the pitch table. Laurent — the founder — has invested in 30+ startups as a business angel. He's read 500+ decks, written his own memo each time, and sent honest feedback when asked.

What he kept doing: the same two or three hours per deck — pulling market figures, sanity-checking the team, drafting the memo — in Notion with ChatGPT open in another tab. Useful, but slow, unsourced, and impossible to keep running once the deal closed.

DeckStorm is that work done in twenty minutes and fully sourced — plus an AI that stays on the deal and monitors that keep watching the portfolio and the thesis. The tool he wishes he'd had.

Why now.

Two years ago, an analyst's read of this depth meant a partner-track hire and a research budget — out of reach for someone investing their own money.

With Anthropic's frontier models — and a ridiculous amount of prompt engineering — investor-grade signal now takes minutes, for less than the cost of a coffee. The frontier moved. We caught it.

What we believe.

  • Every deal deserves an analyst's read — sourced, not a vibe.
  • Citations beat opinions. Every claim ties to a verifiable source, or it's flagged unverified — never invented.
  • Privacy is the default, not the upsell. EU infra, Anthropic-only, no model training on the decks founders send you.
  • The AI is a partner, not an oracle. It reads the whole deal and asks better questions; you still make the call.
  • Built for the kiff — and to be the tool a serious angel actually reaches for.

The tech, briefly.

Anthropic Claude · self-hosted pdf-parser on EU infra · Postgres + BullMQ workers. Boring infrastructure, sharpened prompts. We ship the next layer in public — watch the changelog when it lands.
